I AM GERALDINE, DESIGNER AND ART DIRECTOR BASED IN LONDON
But originally, I am french, from Marseille, a beauty.
Deviating slightly from the norm, I was a lawyer in France before embracing the design world. I still wonder why I chose Law! But transitioning between two different professions in two different countries has made me more adaptable and confident in the decisions I take professionally.
Through the past 7 years, my role has been about conceptualising, developing design solutions and art directing creative projects for clients and prospect, ranging across print, digital, branding and new business pitches. My experience in media & PR agencies has given me a good practice of working within short deadlines, managing time and expectations which have enhanced my communication and organisational skills. I can lead many projects while having oversight of junior members of a team, to maintain and improve quality of work as well as having a collaborative approach on projects.
And on a more personal note, I had the opportunity to exhibit in Paris and London, I am practicing mixed media collage and ‘decollage’ with ripped or lacerated posters… truly liberating!
